Myrna talks about her folks coming to Canada from Oklahoma, crossing the border at Emerson, Manitoba and then having to travel the rest of the way to Amber Valley by wagon train. She also shares how Indigenous people taught them how to survive the winter including burying fish in the muskeg to keep it frozen over the winter.
