Listen "025. Financially Comfortable Homesteader? What does it mean?"
Episode Synopsis
When we think of homesteaders, we don't generally picture monetary wealth. Most of us are choosing a lifestyle of simplicity but I don't think anyone enjoys being strapped for money. While most homesteaders can agree the lifestyle is worth it regardless of the money, that doesn't mean we shouldn't pursue income streams that will allow us to be more financially sustainable. I see financial comfort as the ability to have a steady flow of income, coming from multiple sources, that allow you to have the wiggle room to enjoy your life without working yourself into the ground, being able to go on vacation and help people freely with your time and money.
