For twenty years Mike Donehey was the lead singer of Tenth Avenue North .The band mutually broke up in 2021 and now without the support, protection, cover or backing of his best mates, he's gone it alone, doing what he loves most and was called to do. Mike's advice for new bands is simple, "God's not impressed with your resumé. He's calling for your heart, not your career. Stop worrying about what God's will for your life is. Stop asking God permission to go do what you love.    He struggles to believe his music has any impact, because the songs he writes are to help himself through hard times and pain, the fact they help others are a bonus to the rest of us. Mike's been through some stuff, he can relate and his music comes from his heart. Mikes the guy who'd rather be  hanging out backstage with the support crew than being on stage performing.
