Episode Synopsis

Matthew 6:33 (ESV) - “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”Worry is something we all wrestle with. Whether it’s bills, our future, or our health, anxiety often creeps in. Jesus knew that. That’s why He spoke directly to it in Matthew 6:25–34. He didn’t say our needs weren’t real—He said our heavenly Father already knows them.Jesus calls us to seek His kingdom first—to put God’s ways, His will, and His righteousness at the center of our lives. That means trusting Him today, not just hoping things will work out tomorrow. When we worry, it divides our mind—pulling us away from God’s promises. But when we trust His wisdom and remember His faithfulness, peace begins to take over. He provides for the birds, clothes the flowers, and values us even more. Will He not take care of us too?Living with a “Kingdom First” mindset doesn’t mean we won’t face hardship. It means we focus on God, not fear. We choose surrender over stress. We give even when it’s uncomfortable, knowing He provides. And we trust even when outcomes are unclear, because He sees what we can’t.What’s one area where you haven’t put God first—time, money, relationships, or plans? Take a moment to release that area to Him. Ask: “Lord, what does it mean to seek You first here?”Prayer:Father, I surrender my worries to You. Help me seek Your kingdom first in all areas of my life. Grow my trust and align my heart with Yours. Thank You for knowing what I need and for always providing in love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
