The Christian journey is marked by spiritual enemies and real spiritual battles. As Jill Briscoe, the widow of the great pastor Stuart Briscoe wrote, “ We can worry or we can worship. Strangely enough, busy people find it a whole lot easier to worry than to worship.” The psalmist worshiped and in Psalm 18 we see the reason why. He knew that the Lord was his strength.
