Then he speaks to LA Galaxy technical director Jovan Kirovski (16:02), perhaps the best-connected American in European soccer, about how he landed superstars like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Chicharito Hernández and others. They also discuss Kirovski’s own playing career, in which he spent four years with Manchester United and became the first U.S. player to win the men’s UEFA Champions League title with Borussia Dortmund in 1996-97.
