Listen "Romanticizing Your Life, Or The Beginning Of Narcissism?"
Episode Synopsis
This week, Sean and Rachel sit down with Writer at The Federalist, Co-founder & Managing Editor at The Chicago Thinker, and their oldest daughter Evita Duffy to discuss her latest piece in The Federalist called "How The 'Romanticize Your Life' Tik Tok Trend Is a Gen Z Rejection Of Postmodernism."
Evita explains how Gen Z's newest trend of romanticizing everyday life is actually a form of rejecting postmodernism and the idea that life has no meaning. She believes this is a step in the right direction, however, she sees the dangers in faking joy on social media and explains how it can eventually lead to narcissism.
