S2E34 - For the Glory KC is back with the 41st episode of the show!
On this week's episode, Sporting Kansas City bounce back in a big way with a 3-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps. Sheena and I discuss her boy Remi's lovely goal (after an even better assist), MLS referees failing to protect goalkeepers and how steep the climb remains, despite only being one point below the playoff line.
Beyond that, plenty of Sporting KC injury updates, locker room insights and takeaways from Jake Reid's town hall with season ticket members.
The Kansas City Current get some love as both they and Sporting KC won on the same day for only the second time in history. Not only do we discuss said wins, but also new KC Current signing Stine Ballisager Pederson (sorry for the butchered pronunciation).
Not to be left out, the United States Men's National Team have a big week, scoring 12 goals in two games with big contributions for former Sporting KC man, Gianluca Busio. We even sneak some SKC II talk into the middle of things (where you can sing the National Anthem if you are so inclined).
