In this interview, I had the pleasure of speaking with Mary Latham, the inspiring force behind the "More Good" project. Mary’s journey began as a heartfelt response to the overwhelming negativity in the world, sparked by the tragic events of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting and deeply influenced by the passing of her beloved mother. Following her mother's advice to focus on positive stories and acts of kindness, Mary set out on a mission to find and share these stories across America. We discussed the origins of her mission, her experiences traveling to all 50 states in her mother’s old Subaru, and the remarkable tales of good deeds she encountered along the way. Mary shared insights into the transformative power of focusing on positivity, the incredible hospitality she received from strangers, and her plans to compile these stories into a book.
