We’re excited to be back with you this week and start a new series, “Made for More." Eccl 3:11, “He has put eternity into man’s heart.” What if God has more for you than what you are currently doing and how you are living? Wouldn’t you want to know? And if he did, how would you find out what or who the “more” is?
This week we will be in Ecclesiastes 1 with a message titled “The Gift of Emptiness." We will look at the story of Solomon as he shares his reflections of his life about never being satisfied or content, always looking for what’s next, and being busy with the wrong things. It sounds a lot like how people are feeling and living today. Eccl 1:9 “There is nothing new under the sun.”
We will talk about the “god” of busy and next in our culture and how that can pull away from God. There is so much to learn from this biblical character!
