Eric Betancourt grew up in the Bronx, surrounded by a tough environment with violence, street gangs, and drugs. His father was a heroin addict, and young Eric was exposed to the drug trade early on. He began selling drugs at the age of 12 and eventually got involved in more serious drug-related activities, which ultimately led to his incarceration at the age of 22. *ACTING CAREER* Blue Bloods (2019), Life After You (2020), and New Amsterdam (2018-2021) are some of Erick Betancourt's credits. His most recent television appearance was in Taylor Sheridan's Special Ops: Lioness. Erick is a proud member of Labyrinth Theater Company and a member of the Actors Studio. Erick has an MFA in Acting from Pace University's The Actors Studio Drama School and a BFA from the University of Rhode Island.
