Welcome back to Film Haven Reviews!!! This week we are continuing our theme of "Godzilla" movies with the politically poignant Shin Godzilla (2016). The Godzilla in this movie is WEIRD, at first, and then he gets INTENSE. It was really cool to see a Godzilla movie where he evolved into different forms, it was also interesting to see Godzilla as a force of nature, equivalent to a natural disaster. The movie takes the approach of telling the story from the perspective of the government officials who are tasked with dealing with Godzilla and all of their political machinations. Interesing angle if not a little boring at times, because government board meetings are boring!
