On top of it all, due to social media, we are constantly shaming ourselves because we are our worst critics. We look carefully at the filtered lives of others through the lens of social media and feel immediate pressure to create the perfect family.It’s time for a reality check.  In this episode, we are expanding on that reality check and setting aside this illusion of perfection. We actually need to set boundaries for our children. Boundaries teach children self-discipline, safety, and coping skills. Spend time with your children, but ensure they understand that your time is valuable too, and you can’t just drop everything to meet their every demand. This, in return, will make them appreciate & respect you more.
