Mike Fahey hails from the state of Maine. His first instrument was the trumpet in school band, then he picked up the guitar at age 11, music was always been his biggest hobby/passion and is very lucky to turn that interest into a career.Mike went to college for Mechanical Engineering at University Of Maine Orono, then switched his major to Audio Engineering and attended The New England School Of Communications. He landed an internship at Sputnik Sound after Vance Powell came to his school and did a seminar on mixing. He moved to Nashville in September 2012, after two months of interning was hired by Mitch Dane as his assistant engineer. During that time Sputnik moved down the street to a new building in Berry Hill and he did construction for 7 months while we renovated and added on to the new building. In December of 2014 he was hired by Vance and worked with him for 8 years.
