In this episode of the Wake Up Call we study the life of King Rehoboam in 2 Chronicles 12. His life is a sad story. He inherits Israel at its greatest, he grows strong, and then he makes the fatal decision to turn from the law of the Lord. Then result of his backsliding and sin makes room for his enemies to plunder his kingdom. He then tries to restore the image of his lost wealth with something of much lesser value - he trades his gold for bronze. 
You have a choice: will you trade your gold for bronze? Never allow what you have in Christ to be traded for cheap religion that looks the 'same' but has no worth.
