Annapolis is gearing up for one of its signature traditions this fall — the return of the world-famous Annapopis Powerboat and Annapolis Sailboat Shows. First up is the Annapolis Powerboat Show from October 2–5, followed by the Annapolis Sailboat Show from October 9–12. Tickets are on sale now, and we caught up with Mary Ewenson, one of the show's owners, to get the inside scoop. Mary shared what attendees can expect this year: the sheer number of boats on display, the exciting debuts of some very cool new models, and why both serious buyers and casual dreamers will want to make their way to City Dock in Downtown Annapolis. We also talked logistics, from parking and dining, to how the shows are being organized amid ongoing construction. Of equal (if not more) importance, we got an answer to the burning question, "What will we do without a Pusser's Painkiller?"
