For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, ... INSPIRATION: There's an anointing that sets one apart and makes them shine. When Beersheba came to Solomon, it wasn't the magnificence of the place, the elegance of his crown or the rich delicacies that caught her attention, it was the anointing that God released upon him in the form of wisdom that made his life glorious. So when we speak of power for glory, we're not talking about power to intimidate but to reign; power to make you excellent and exceptional. Glory speaks of splendour and class. What makes for a life of glory in this kingdom is the measure of God's power you expose yourself to. What does the power do? It transforms you into an outstanding personality. Samson remarked, "...If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man" (Judges 16:17). The power of God in our lives removes us from the class of ordinary men. The power strengthens you to operate and command a dimension of uncommon results. Also, the power attracts favour towards you and compels people to help you. In this sense, you become genuinely and generally liked by people for no reason, so much so that they'll not rest until they serve your interest. What this implies, is that, you'll become so decorated with honour that everyone competes to honour you and make things easy for you. There's a divine powerplay orchestrating events to guarantee you're the preferred amongst choices. Everything you do turns to gold, and leaves a trail of excellence. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Seek for the power and influence of the Holy Spirit that sets one apart for exploits. Release yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to breathe and brood upon you with fresh power. PRAYER: Oh Lord, help me to surrender to the power of the Holy Spirit so my life can be glorious without much effort. I'm daily exposed to the power of the Holy Spirit and my life is greatly impacted with power for glory, in Jesus name.
