But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be ....” - Romans 1:16 NKJV 16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. INSPIRATION: It goes without saying that everyone loves to manifest glory but only few know how to obtain and generate the glory they want to manifest. If you have a well-built mansion with all manner of electrical gadgets but it is not connected to a power source, its glory would not be known or seen, especially, in darkness. You would have to connect them to power and turn on the switches for their glory and magnificent splendour to be seen. In like manner, unless the source of power is switched on in your life, there's no glory to manifest. Scriptures was clear, "And you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and your shall be...(a carrier of glory and anything else that you want to become)." The bottom and borderline is that you receive power! The activation catalyst to our glory is the reception of power. Don't approach this year without power otherwise, your peers would leave you behind and defeated. This power removes shame (Romans 1:16) and charges your life with transformational glory which you wear like a crown. There's the undeniable role of the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives that translates into glory. Any glory outside the one generated by the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives is counterfeit. Now, someone may want to ask if they get serious with life and tick all recommended boxes for success, what becomes of them? You may attain success at a level, but it may be devoid of the power that reveals the glory in your success. Hence, we've very many successful but obscured professionals everywhere. Success is not the switch that turns and beams the light on your glory, it is the power of God that does! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Know and trust Jesus as the source of your glory. Then release yourself to him and quit struggling to become. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you accomplish goals that reveal God's glory in your life. PRAYER: Oh Lord, help me to surrender to the power of the Holy Spirit so my life can be glorious without much effort. I'm daily exposed to the power of the Holy Spirit and my life is greatly impacted with power for glory, in Jesus name.
