Memory Verse: ‭‭ "Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding" - Proverbs 23:23 NKJV Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Matthew 13:44 NKJV 44. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. INSPIRATION: Oh! How I love Jesus!! He's a Specialist at pointing us away from our thoughts to something that's of eternal value which may not have caught our attention. In this striking directive, Jesus instructs through a parable the need to buy a field. Why? Because treasures are hidden in it. In the parable, a man discovers a field with hidden treasures and then goes to sell all he had to raise money to buy the field. The question that comes to mind is, what constitutes a treasure to you? Whilst you think of this, remember Jesus's statement, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" - (Matt. 6:21). Where is your heart inclined towards? When you find an answer to this very important question, the command is, buy that place. What this implies is, if you want to see glorious manifestation this year, you must invest in what is important and of value to you. Understanding that value is relative, rather than universal, what constitutes value to you might not be same for others. Regardless of this dichotomy, what are you willing to pay in exchange for the value you seek? There's a price to pay to get power, there's personal development processes to engage to advance in life. You can't wish for greatness without applying yourself to the principles that make for greatness. Success is not a wish, it is a dogged disciplined pursuit. Hence, Proverbs say, "Buy the truth, and do not sell it..." Go, buy that field today. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Determine what constitutes a treasure to you. Then go in search of those treasure with all your heart until you find and buy them. Real treasures hold eternal values, hence you're advised, buy but don't sell it off. Guard your treasure-base jealously. PRAYER: Dear Lord, teach my heart to prioritise and chase after things with eternal values. Cause the eyes of my understanding to be flooded with light to see and understand hidden treasure that can help you manifest gloriously, in Jesus name.
