In this episode we sit down with Neurosurgeon Dr. William Humphries. Dr Humphries is a Georgia native and attended high school as well as college in the Atlanta area. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College with academic and music scholarships and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Biology. He went on to obtain his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in 2006. During his medical school matriculation he also obtained an MPH in Epidemiology from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Humphries completed his neurosurgical residency training in the Texas Medical Center at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX . Afterwards, he completed a combined fellowship in cerebrovascular/endovascular neurosurgery at the Semmes-Murphey Neurologic and Spine Institute in Memphis, Tennessee.
