I am interviewing Egyptian American artist based in Dallas, Dina Elsaid. Dina creates beautiful art inspired from the rich tapestry of Egyptian culture, history, and symbolism, infusing elements that reflect the beauty, complexity, and mystique of her Egyptian roots.

I met Dina last year when she was sharing her bright and colorful series celebrating the mosaic tiling of her home Egypt with woven elements of Texas that spoke to her heart.
