In our debut episode of The Kitschy Kountdown, we're counting down the top seven reasons we think starting a podcast is the best idea ever. We even divulge some of our fears about this feat, as well as give you a little background info on who we are. We hope you listen and enjoy! ----- Because podcasting is the new reality TV. It's the platform we're sure will launch us into book deals, daytime TV interviews, and guest appearances on our favorite shows. We want to be honest about what we like to do, about our hobbies, and our hobby is podcasting. Podcasting melds everything we like to do together into one big happy thing. We like to think our conversations are witty and charming and have both uncovered this accessible medium that is podcasting, so why not combine these traits to broadcast our thoughts to the world? Or let's be honest, our moms. We want you, listener and reader, to keep us accountable for the things we say. We wanted to create an outlet for other women to find connection and inspiration throughout their daily lives. We both have jobs that, while rewarding, can be taxing, and having a scheduled time to talk to your friend every week serves as a nice outlet.
