Listen "#64 Mental Capacity: it's decision specific, not a binary concept with Dr Maggie Keeble"

Episode Synopsis

In this episode it is my pleasure to talk with Dr Maggie Keeble, a retired GP with a special interest in End of Life Care. Maggie spent the later part of her career working in care homes and during that time became involved in many Lasting Power of Attorney discussions. We have a great conversation and Maggie really breaks down the Mental Capacity Act in relation to making a Lasting Power of Attorney and explains how we assess capacity to make the different types of Lasting Power of Attorney. If you are a team looking to provide better end of life care, or set up a one off or complete education programme in end of life care head to www.speakformelpa.co.uk where I provide details on how I can help you. You will also find information about my Lasting Power of Attorney consultancy and the talks I offer for organisations.
