Episode Synopsis

Haemochromatosis, also known as 'iron overload' is a genetic disorder which can cause the body to absorb too much iron.

Ireland has the highest number of cases in the world, with an estimated 20,000 people undiagnosed according to the Haemochromatosis Association of Ireland.
