This week we started a new series that will carry us through the entire year. We're calling it The First Gospel. It will be a journey through the entire Old Testament to help us better understand who God is, what he's up to in the world, who we are, and how we can partner with him in that work.We started our series by looking at Genesis 1:1, which is not an introduction to a story about the creation of the world but is rather an introduction to the God who is the story: the uncreated One who created the whole universe as an expression of and venue for his boundless love.
