Getting through this crisis will require more than just good hygiene and social distancing. We need to be just as smart and proactive about our mental health. Our guest on Big Time Talker podcast is Terry Connell, a licensed acupuncturist, yoga instructor and author living in Washington, D.C. who believes acupuncture is a great way to stay healthy. It is effective in treating symptoms by inhibiting virus growth and increasing the immune response in the body (specifically the T lymphocytes). Other fun things to keep busy is read a book, exercise, cook a meal, and don’t let yourself get caught up in the endless, repetitive drama of the news cycle. We'll talk to Terry on tips and routine to help cope with these strange times where social distancing is the new norm and take questions on how to stay healthy.  Terry is also an award-winning screenwriter and Cowley Literary Award nominee for his memoir Slaves to the Rhythm.
