Listen "I know God Loves Me, So Why Am I still Hurting?"
Episode Synopsis
Send a text message to the show! Welcome to episode #9 of the Building Great Lives podcast! As a child of God, I am very familiar with His love and mercy. However, there are times that even though I know God loves me, I still find myself hurting. I still find myself going through frustrating circumstances and yes, at times even wondering, WHY God would allow this?Over the years, I’ve discovered, I am not the only one who has felt this way. Thankfully, there are stories in the Bible that share times when others have felt the same struggle between KNOWING God loved them, yet still reeling from the hurt of their situation. While we would certainly prefer to feel the love of God and never hurt or suffer again, the fact remains, we have been called to a greater purpose where even our hurt can be a blessing to someone. In this episode, we will explore several instances of great men who God used their hurt to be a catalyst of healing to others. Just as those in the Bible, there’s a purpose much bigger at work than your current hurt. Let’s continue to build, because God is not done with us yet!Remember, great lives are not born, they’re built. Let’s start building!
