The houseguest: A reflection for our solitary suffering.I often talk about the aliveness of being human. The joy, the wonder, the creation and the vastness of our precious experience here on earth. But part of our aliveness is also embracing the pain, grief and loneliness. I think one of the hardest things about being human just may be our solitary suffering. We are collectively going through so much at this present time in history, so much collective suffering, but no one lives inside the home of your soul, but you. Join me for a contemplative practice inspired by Rumi's poem, "The Guest House".
