My God, I get touched and a little sad when I hear this song. Reminds me of the transformation after death. From the first moment in Witty musics' studio when I was hired to sing it I thought of the eternal peace, of being swept away with the wind after being burned and carried over the sea. To me this is so much more than just a TV commercial singer job.

But when I was young I was a grunge punk and I never wanted to get in touch with commercial music at all. And then later ... was honoured to become Germanys most played commercial singer for so many years. Yet I nearly turned down the first offers I was given for TV commercials – as I am a vegetarian and would not sing for companies who use vivisection. The producer had a deep discussion with me and, I had my principles. So I chose to say yes to those jobs and kept investing a large part of the income to animal welfare and Non-profit-organisations plus, I would buy good, not-harming products. Luckily later vivisection got forbidden for cosmetics in Germany anyway.
