It’s Friday, March 11th, 2016 and in this week’s show, we’ll be discussing three films that are currently playing – or soon to open – at FilmScene. We traverse the globe in this week’s show, as our line-up includes the Icelandic pastoral drama Rams, which opened at FilmScene today. Next, we’ll discuss the revival of the thoughtful Japanese-anime drama Only Yesterday, which opens at FilmScene next Friday, March 18th. Finally, we’ll talk about the Irish horror-comedy Grabbers, which plays at FilmScene next Saturday night, March 19th, at 11PM as part of Bijou After Hours. In this final segment, we’ll be joined by fellow Bijou member Spencer Williams, who will help us dissect the grabber and its weaknesses.
