In this week’s show, we’ll be discussing three films that are currently playing at, or coming soon to FilmScene.  Our line-up includes the Mike Leigh’s Mr. Turner, which continues to play at FilmScene throughout the weekend and following week.  Next, we’ll be discussing The Patience Stone, by Afghan director Atiq Rahimi.  The Patience Stone plays on Tuesday, March 24, at 6PM as part of Bijou Horizions, a series dedicated to bringing awareness to world cinema.  Finally we’ll be discussing Jim Jarmusch’s Stranger than Paradise, which plays at FilmScene this Saturday, March 14, at 1PM, and Sunday, March 15, also at 1PM.  These screenings kick off the series A Sad and Beautiful World: The Black and White Films of Jim Jarmusch.  Joining us in our third segment is FilmScene’s cofounder and programming director, Andy Brodie.
