Denver-based alternative metal band Takipnik will unleash their third full-length album, Awakened , on October 24, 2025 . Self-released and produced by Bobby Malone , the record captures the band at their most dynamic and fearless yet—blending crushing riffs with expansive atmospherics to create a sound that is both heavy and hypnotic.
Since their formation in 2019, Takipnik has carved out a unique space within the alt-metal and post-metal scenes, balancing aggression with melody and atmosphere. Their earlier works—including their debut EP The Biggest (2021) and the full-length This Hypocrisy (2023)—set the stage for what has now become their most ambitious project to date.
Written by Bobby Malone and Ethan Kotel , and recorded and mixed by Ethan Kotel , with mastering by Brad Smalling of Evergroove Studio , Awakened expands on the sonic landscapes Takipnik has been exploring in recent singles like Seeing Red , Dawn , and The Finding . The new album weaves together heavy synth-driven grooves, soaring atmospheres, and emotionally charged post-rock textures, making for a powerful and immersive listening experience.
