Listen "Taking ownership of the choices we make so we can find happiness in our lives"
Episode Synopsis
This week we give a little update on Kevin the mini-mule and how Camri is changing the dynamic of the catching routine. If we focus on a relationship before we start demanding things of each other, it leads to a more fulfilling relationship, as well as more willingness to respond to our demands later on.
We discuss how taking ownership of our decisions in our life gives us the power to make the changes we need to make. Many times humans talk about how we can’t change our situation, or how we are forced into the situation we are in, and bad things are happening to us. But is there really a “can’t”? Or are we just blaming the world, our spouse, our friend, or our horse? If we take ownership of the choices we made that got us to where we are, then we can be content in the life that we have chosen. We can accept the good with the bad, knowing we aren’t stuck, but that we chose this, and we can continue to choose this. Or we can make new choices that shape a new life.
As we make new choices, we need to remember that slow progress is the best progress. It will last longer and be more meaningful if we take the time it takes to learn through the process and grow as a person, spouse, business owner, and friend.
