In this episode of Before You Bloom, Hayley sits down with Danielle Donald, whose life changed in an instant after a devastating high speed car accident on March 27, 2018. Danielle and her one year old son were rushed to the Alfred Hospital, her son thankfully unharmed, but Danielle sustained a severe traumatic brain injury, including a left temporal haemorrhage and intraparenchymal haemorrhage.She spent four months in a coma, endured post-traumatic amnesia, and faced a long road of recovery with permanent vision loss in her right eye. Despite these enormous challenges, Danielle has refused to let her injuries define her. From feeling invisible and misunderstood after her accident, to now chasing her dreams and competing in ICN bodybuilding competitions.
