You are listening to the 100th episode of the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast. And what an honor it is, to sit back and reflect on all the episodes that have been put out into the world.
Each conversation was powerful because it was a seed of encouragement sewn in a way that met people’s hearts and minds in a way that only God could have known they needed that seed – for that moment in time.
I know it’s been a blessing to be able to do what I know I know I know God has called me to do, so when I thought about this 100th episode and talked it out with friends —- Gratitude came to mind.
Gratitude is powerful. It can shift our thinking despite our circumstances and what we are facing in the here and now. So I am full of gratitude in this moment, as I look at the glass that is not half empty but yet…. What has been filled up.
You have filled up my glass so much —--- thank you for coming in today and being a part of the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast — even if this is your first time or you’ve been here for episode 1 called “Worth the Wait” to my first guest speaker on the show.
This is a journey. No expiration date. No number capping off what this podcast is about to do or where it’s going.
But right here in the midst of this journey —- I want to pause at the overlook point, and be in awe. Awe of what’s been said and how it’s been an encouragement to me and so many others.
Like I said, Gratitude is on my mind so that is why this special guest speaker, Stephanie Jones is perfect for this topic! Stephanie is a speaker and author of “The Gratitude Challenge” and “Thank You Notes to God”, among other books she has written. You can listen to Stephanie, also known as the “Giving Gal” on TedTalk.
Stephanie lives and breathes gratitude in a way that it’s contagious. In fact, after this conversation I went to my husband and so many others and wrote thank you cards and intentionally said thank you to others that I probably wouldn’t have, had I not stirred up the momentum to give a gift of gratitude.
