Reasons to Embrace God's Love In 1 John 4:7-12, we are reminded that God is love. Understanding the importance of God's love is essential for a fulfilling and meaningful relationship with him. Love is why Jesus died Human beings, including you and I, often fall short and disappoint God. Sin and evil cannot coexist in God's presence. To address our sins, God, motivated by his boundless love, provided a solution - the birth, life, death, and resurrection of his only Son, Jesus Christ. By placing our trust in him, God's love assures us that we will never bear the penalty for our wrongdoings. Through Christ's sacrifice, we are acquitted and offered the gift of eternal life.
