Listen "EP7 What is Sanity and How does Oppression Hurt the Oppressor?"
Episode Synopsis
What is sanity? Who is the crazy one?Do you sometimes feel like you are living in a crazy world? What makes you feel like you are sane? In this episode we look at the core of sanity. What is the essence of sanity?I talk about a few persons who I have, in some respects, found to bring some sanity into my life, like Andreas Antonopoulos, Edward Snowden, and Erik Voorhees.I propose that sanity is related to freedom and particularly the freedom of being and expressing one's true essence. That brings us to a discussion on oppression and on how both the oppressor and the oppressed are stuck and unable to move toward a true expression of their highest potential. We talk about systems of oppression. Then we talk about the importance of increasing ones sensitivity and why opening ones heart is key to being sane and able to become free and the most accomplished version of oneself. If you enjoy this type of thought you can find more of it in my book "The Devil is in the Structure".
