Nick Kolakowski’s Where the Bones Lies is noir at its finest. He’s managed to create a dark, twisted tale with a sharp edge of black humor—all in perfect balance. Dash Fuller has seen it all and wants to leave his life as a Hollywood fixer behind, but the life keeps calling him back in unexpected ways. Madeline Ironwood’s long missing father’s remains are found in a barrel stuck in a dried up lake. The search for answers doesn’t go as planned.

A rich cast of characters along with Dash keep this story bubbling. Sometimes when you uncover the past, there’s price to pay.
