A Hays High School student was arrested on Tuesday after school officials said he brought an airsoft gun to school and threatened the campus with it. No students or staff were harmed. According to an email from Principal David Pierce,some students overheard another talking on his cell phone stating that he had a gun and was planning to use it at school. The students then alerted staff members on campus. The district did not say what, if any, criminal charges the student is facing.
