His new book is The Road to Illegitimacy: What Really Happened in the 2000 Florida Vote Re-Count.

David Frum's books include The Right Man: The Surprise Presidency of George W. Bush and What's Right: The New Conservative Majority and the Remaking of America. From January 2001 to February 2002, he was special assistant to the President for economic speechwriting. He is a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, a columnist for the National Review Online, and a panelist on NPR's Left, Right, and Center.

Katha Pollitt writes the Subject to Debate column for The Nation, where she has been a contributor since 1980. A 1992 Nation essay, "Why We Read: Canon to the Right of Me", won a National Magazine Award for Essays and Criticism. She has been contributing to The New Yorker since 1975.
