Listen "I Am Boxed in By White People (Book Club Pick 1.1)"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode, we read the first half (chapters 1 through 4) of I Was Their American Dream by Malaka Gharib and discuss the themes that resonated with us. Steven, in particular, felt a visceral flashback when he came across the section depicting Cerritos HS. We also predict where we think where the second half of the book will go.
