Katia Del Rio Smith is a multidisciplinary performance maker and artist with a background in Music, Theatre, and Design. Artistically, Katia’s focus centers around socially engaged practice, rooted in the autobiographical. Their work has an experiential/immersive quality that submerges the audience. Currently, their artistic aim is to create work that transmits a message to people and provokes honest and open discussion around featured topics. As a facilitator, Katia has a multidisciplinary approach with experience in Poetry, Drama, Music, and Design.
