Listen "Humanism"
Episode Synopsis
Check out my book on Anne...https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FDLSJFG9Anne Boleyn was an amazing human being. She was given an education that money could not buy. She was educated to be what she became and that was a thought leader and a conduit for humanism. The Renaissance gave us Michelangelo who painted God in the form of a man. The Renaissance gave us Anne Boleyn who understood what it meant for God to be a man. Anne understood the selfish gene in terms of the selfish nature of men and women. She understood selfish is not a dirty word because it is the way we are made. It is not immoral or a sin to be selfish, it is natural. Anne was a Christian and so was Henry and selfish had to be balanced with religious ambition and social instinct. Anne was selfish for falling in love with a married man. Henry VIII was selfish for wanting a male heir. Neither was more selfish than when it came to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Selfishness and not love was the relationship between Jesus Christ and the Tudor family of Anne, Henry and Elizabeth 1.Send us a textSupport the show
