I'm excited to share a fun and engaging back to school goal setting activity that you can do with your students or children. This activity will not only help build a positive community of learners; but you can also use this back to school activity to CO-CREATE the class rules or agreements together. This activity can also help you launch routines and expectations and then eventually launch reading and writing workshop, conferences and small group instruction. Now I'm curious if part of your back to school planning includes a fun and engaging way to set goals with your students. This can be academic goals, social emotional goals, personal goals, and so much more. Of course goal setting is something you will do all school year long, but at the beginning of year you'll want to make it super special.  So in today's show I'm going to share with you one of the back to school goal setting activities I just did last week with my learners in our new microschool.
