Listen "July 21 Family Glue: Value"
Episode Synopsis
· Your investment determines your motivation for chasing a stray.
· What if church is supposed to be a model of a healthy family?
· Matthew 18:10-14 - 10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. 12 “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the
ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if hefinds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the
ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
· Don’t despise people.
· Are you worth the trouble for God to find you
· God says you are worth trouble.
· Romans 8:38-39 - 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
· Have a passion for people who have lost their way.
· We exist to help as many people as possible take their next step toward Jesus.
· Pray for people far from God.
· Share your story.
· Be ready for lost sheep to come.
· Everyone in your family matters.
· Put the same value on your family members as God does
· Father, I confess I have done wrong. Please
