Episode Synopsis

Back by popular demand, the "ADA Live!" Show: Post-Secondary Education and Students with Disabilities is being rebroadcast by the Southeast ADA Center. Students with disabilities, including those who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, don’t usually know about their opportunities in higher education, what accommodations are available, and how to request them. This episode discusses what students with disabilities and their families need to know about access to higher education and the kinds of supports and services that are available to them when they enter college or university, and also recommended resources to get you started in learning more about higher education and students with disabilities.

Speaker: Diana Katovitch, Taishoff Center on Inclusive Higher Education at Syracuse University
