First we heard from Halah Ahmad about the way the DNC avoided talking about the war in Gaza, and how the Harris campaign looks likely to continue the Biden Administration’s tepid response to the genocide. Then Nick Wylie from the Public Media Institute and WORT’s own news team of Chali Pittman, Faye Parks, and Carlos Dávalos shared what they saw during their reporting in Chicago, including the disconnect between the frustrated protesters and the jubilant convention-goers.
