Listen "Courageous Fire: Permission to Thrive: A Guide to Breaking Free from Limiting Beliefs /Ep 3489"
Episode Synopsis
Courageous Fire, a Black woman, realized at 48 she had endured 13+ years of abuse. As she distanced herself and her daughters from the abuser, she uncovered a lifetime of abusive situations even tracing back through her family lineage. Determined to find solutions, she started a social enterprise and a nonprofit to provide culturally-responsive services for Black women and their children, and to guide organizations in creating safety and improving health outcomes. Courageous believes in abuse reparations and dedicates her life to uncovering layers of healing for herself, her daughters, and others like them, knowing that changing their narrative improves society for everyone.
